Rx. Puerariae Ge Gen 4-60g Discharges Exterior conditions, releases the muscles, especially of the neck and upper back, relieves Heat, generates fluids and vents rashes.
Flos Lonicerae Jin Yin Hua 6-20g Clears Heat, resolves Fire toxicity and vents and disperses External Wind-Heat.
With Lian Qiao, for various Heat disorders.
With Gan Cao, for toxic swellings and sores.
With Lian Qiao and Ban Lan Gen, for throat soreness and swelling.
Fr. Forsythiae Lian Qiao 6-30g Clears Heat especially in the Upper Jiao, clears Blood Heat, relieves toxicity, reduces abscesses and dissipates clumps.
With Ban Lan Gen, for any externally contracted Heat disorder.
With Ban Lan Gen and Da Qing Ye, for mumps and erysipelas.
Fol. Isatidis Da Qing Ye 9-30g Clears Heat, resolves Fire toxicity, cools the Blood and dissipates maculae.
With Jin Yin Hua, for toxic Heat sores, erysipelas, mumps, or sore throat.
